3 Bridesmaid Dresses. 2 Prom Dresses. 1 Wedding Dress.
What do they all have in common?
They’re all in my closet right now! Do you know how embarrassing that is to admit? Aside from the prom dress I wore to a murder mystery party last year, it’s been WAY too long since I’ve worn any of them!
So, when I read 50 Things Your Life Doesn’t Need by Sam Davidson, I was convicted. Apparently, his plea to eliminate small dreams, bucket lists, and worry had absolutely no affect on me. But, when he raided my closet and gave the suggestion to rent instead of buy the things we only plan to wear once – that hit hard.
My good intentions of selling those dresses never occurred. Instead, I subconsciously decided to keep those big, fluffy dresses let them take up valuable space in my closet.
No wonder my closet seems too small!
Perhaps Spring Cleaning will come early this year.
What about you? Do you have anything you’ve only worn once hanging in your closet? Please tell me I’m not the only one!
