After last week your kitchen cabinets are extremely clean and organized, right? So now the outside needs to match the inside…and that’s exactly what we’re going to do today!
I don’t know about you, but with all the banging and clanging that goes on in our kitchen, the cabinet doors get dirty with a capital D. If you have light color cabinets, you can probably see the dirt and oil from grimy hands covering your cabinets. If you have dark cabinets, you may not be able to see it, but rest assured it’s there! Take a few minutes today to scrub down the cabinets. Here’s how.
Spring Clean Kitchen Cabinet Doors
- Soft cloth. You don’t want to use an abrasive material to clean the cabinets or you could scratch the wood/coating.
- Scraper. My favorite tool! It will help you remove that stuck on gunk without damaging your cabinets.
- An all-purpose cleaner. The one from our sponsor Proxi is the bomb! Have you entered the giveaway yet?
Starting on one side of the upper level cabinets, spray the all purpose cleaner and wipe down the entire cabinet. Pay particular attention to areas hands touch often like the knobs and corners. As you come across dried food spatters, use the scraper to easily remove.
When one cabinet is finished, continue to the side to complete the entire top level of cabinets. Then move to the bottom.
Cleaning your cabinets is a simple task but can make a big impact in the cleanliness of your kitchen!
As always, let me know in the comments or on Facebook when you finish!
