Do you want to know a little secret?
My kids like to clean!
Yep…they’re still young enough to think helping mommy is fun. I know it won’t last forever. But, I’m livin’ it up while I can!
When we have towels in the dryer that need to be put away, I make a BIG DEAL about how fun they are to fold. Because of my excitement (or at least in part), the boys LOOOOVE to take the towels out of the dryer, fold them, and pretend their arms are a train hauling them to the closet.
The entire process takes a long time. The towels are never folded quite right. BUT…You should see how proud of themselves they are when they’re finished.
Plus they get better every week. One day I’m going to have two towel folding rock stars!
One simple trick I tried over Mother’s Day kept them busy cleaning for a half hour!!
Scotch-Brite, the wonderful sponsor of this post, sent me a few products to try out for their #GiftofClean campaign.
So…I let the boys open the boxes…like it was a gift for them!
They loved it. Seriously.
Then I let the boys take them for a test drive of sorts…no chemicals of course. But since they didn’t exactly know what the speciality products were “supposed” to clean, I let them figure it out on their own.
It was kinda funny. But amazing at the same time!
Here’s a quick video I captured of my boys “cleaning” the bathroom for me.
I’m training them now so that one day I’ll get to make all the messes and they can clean for me!
Sort of 🙂
Thank you Scotch-Brite for helping my boys get some energy out!
