Soft drink cans and food cans transported from the manufacture to the grocery store are often stacked on top of each other. The bottom of one can moves from the dirty floor to the top of another transferring dirt and germs to the very place we open the can.
It’s even been rumored that rats and other rodents manuvour thorough the storehouse making the stacks of cans their personal playground. I personally don’t have first hand knowledge of this and I don’t ever want it!
When we finally get the cans home, we pop open the soda lid and drink away…we open food cans with the can opener and the lid almost always dips into the food.
That of course means all the dirt and germs are transferred to us!
So, I want to ask you a few questions:
- Do you ever think about this germ transfer when opening your cans?
- If not, would you rather just ignore it and go on about you life?
- Do you think about it but just ignore it?
- Do you actually do something about it like washing the lids before opening?
I am extremely curious to hear your thoughts!
