Living in a small space has many benefits but there can also be a few challenges. Every single area of your home needs to be functional when your tight on space. If you happen to live in a small home or apartment, you quite possibly have dreams of having a large, stylish laundry room one day. But, if you happen to have a teeny, tiny laundry closet, I want to assure you that it can be just as useful. In fact, in some areas of the country, it’s a plus to even have a laundry area in your home at all!
Organizing Tips for a Laundry Closet
Making every nook functional is a must if you have a laundry closet. One of my favorite organizing tips for those living in a small space is to utilize and over the door shoe storage organizer. They’re perfect for so many things! They can be used:
- in a child’s room to store toys
- in a craft room store supplies
- in a closet to store accessories
But, since we’re talking about laundry closets today, I’m going to let you take a peek into mine to see how it’s organized. It’s certainly not designer, but it’s very functional and actually has just enough room for everything we need (from wrinkle release for those days you just don’t have time to iron to that handy, dandy Flip-Fold!)
So, I’d love to hear from you! If you have a laundry closet, what have you done to make it fit your laundry style? If you have a big laundry room, do you think you could get by with just a closet?
