We’ve cleaned all of the big appliances…woohooo! Let’s take a break from cleaning this week to focus on organizing the items hidden behind the cabinet doors. Sound good?
Plate and Cup Organization
Alright, organizing your plate and cup cabinet should be fairly easy. If you only have a couple of minutes, then focus on wiping out the cabinet base and eliminating dishes and cups that you no longer use. If you have 15 minutes, then here are some easy steps to follow.
- Take everything out of your dish cabinet, even if it doesn’t belong, so you can wipe out the bottom of the cabinet.
- Then look around your kitchen to determine if there’s a better location for your dishes.
- If not, then restock dishes and glasses that you use. If you don’t use it, put it in your box 🙂
- As you organize the cabinet, determine if an organizational tool would be helpful or if the same affect could be achieved by readjusting the shelves. You only need a couple inches headway above the tallest cup or stack of dishes so don’t waste with shelving adjusted too high.
