Most moms I know try to do it all. They work, clean, cook, clean some more, spend time with their husband, take care of the kids, send care packages, clean up again, try to be a good friend, run errands, clean once more….repeat, repeat, repeat.
Moms juggle all of these responsibilities (and more!) with a smile on their face.
Well…usually!
It’s a continual process but the need to clean is something that just happens to come around over and over again. If your house is anything like mine, as soon as an area is picked up, it’s messy again in 2 minutes…maybe less! Living in a perpetual state of cleanliness is often just a dream.
In the grand scheme of things, though, cleaning isn’t that important. Really it’s not. At least it’s not as important as say, spending time with your family. But, there are a couple of perks. Cleaning can be used as a teaching tool with kids. And living in a clean environment can help you have a more orderly and peaceful life, which in turn can make other aspects of each day more fulfilling and fun!
The goal of iDreamofClean is to find the best cleaning tips and tricks so busy moms can spend less time cleaning and more time with family. We’re all in different phases of life and have different responsibilities. But, we’ve all probably figured out a way to make some aspects of cleaning a little less daunting. So let’s collaborate and pass on our knowledge to each other. iDreamofClean will hopefully be a community where we can learn from each other. There are four ways we can make this happen:
- Comment – After you read a post, if you have a different or better way to tackle a cleaning challenge, let us all know in the comment section.
- Ask questions – If you have a particular cleaning challenge or question, send me an email and I’ll do my best to find out the answer.
- Link Up – iDreamofClean will host a Real Clean Wednesday carnival where you can link up a cleaning tip or trick, brag on your little ones (or big ones!) for helping around the house, or share a cleaning success/failure.
- Guest Post – If you have a cleaning tip or trick that you’d like to share, contact me and let’s talk!
I’m so looking forward to the opportunity of connecting with you, sharing with you, and learning from you. Feel free to contact me on email, twitter, or facebook. And, come back tomorrow to see what’s next!
Until then, we can dream of clean together!
