Every day in high school I ate one of two things: PB&J or cottage cheese & grapes. Now, every morning I eat the same thing: oatmeal. Clearly, I don’t need much variety when it comes to my food. Since my family needs a little more excitement I recently decided that our lunches needed a bit of revamping. I did a little search and found these amazing ham and potato pockets! I “healthified” them a little bit and they are delish!! They do have onion in them though so you know what that means…smelly hands. Why is it that cutting up an onion make your hands smell so bad?
Well, I cut up onions for the ham and potato pockets the exact same night The Diaper Diaries left a comment on my post about using used coffee grounds as a deodorizer. Since it was such a great tip, I thought it deserved its own post. She said that you can use used coffee grounds to get rid of the onion smell on your hands. Just rub the coffee grounds in your hands like you would do with soap, rinse with water, and dry. The onion smell should be gone! I tried it and it works great!!
Like I needed another reason to feed my caffeine addiction!
