The other day my husband and I noticed what appeared to be scratches all over our TV screen. It took a little rubbing with TV screen cleaner and a microfiber cloth to notice the marks were just crayon marks. Thankfully, the crayon marks came right off. However, we realized that putting a television at the eye level of a two-year old probably isn’t the best idea!
Anyway, the television got a good scrubbing. Have you ever cleaned your TV?
I’ve detailed out exactly how to clean your TV in another blog post so I’m going to send you there today.
However, I want to suggest one other task if you have time.
If you have cable or satellite TV, consider calling your provider and adjusting your plan. I called to cancel mine a few months ago because, with pre-schoolers, we just don’t have much time to watch television. Not to mention all of the other less expensive options like Amazon Fire TV, macdaddy TV antennas, Amazon Prime Instant Video – you can get a one month free trial here, Hulu Plus, etc.
Anyway, when I called to cancel cable but keep our Interenet, they lowered our price to the cost of just internet.
You never know until you ask!
Your assignment for today:
- Continue working on habit #7.
- Clean your TV and try to lower your cable bill.
- Add this task to your personal cleaning calendar.
