We’ve been having some issues with our air conditioner in the attic. My husband and I climbed up a ladder into the attic to check it out the other day. While he was troubleshooting the problem, I stopped myself on the ladder and noticed all the dust sitting on top of our furniture.
There are a couple of shelving units near the attic door that reach a foot below the ceiling. They NEVER get dusted. It was quite obvious as I was standing on that ladder.
I don’t plan to bring a ladder out every time I dust. But I am going to be more mindful of the areas I can reach. I’m almost certain there’s dust at eye level I’ve been missing for years.
Perhaps the same is true for you too!
Let’s dust and polish our furniture today. And try not to miss too many spots 🙂
Grab a microfiber cloth and go over all surfaces in you home including ceiling fans, end tables, coffee tables, bookshelves, mantles, etc. to remove as much dust as possible.
Then, if you have extra time, make those surfaces shine! Use wood polish to condition wood and glass cleaner to shine mirrors and glass.
