We’ve covered quite a few habits this year. I hope the habits are building on one another and you can tell a difference in the way you are cleaning your home. If you’ve just started with us don’t worry about going back to the beginning; just start with our new cleaning habit.
These are the habits we’ve covered so far:
- Cleaning Habit #1: Tackle your problem area,
- Cleaning Habit #2: Clean your kitchen every night,
- Cleaning Habit #3: Let it go and streamline your life,
- Cleaning Habit #4: 5 minute pick up,
- Cleaning Habit #5: Put things back where they belong,
- Cleaning Habit #6: Wash one load of laundry each day,
- Cleaning Habit #7: Do One Thing. Just Start.
Now that we’re starting a new month, it’s time to start a new habit! And I am super pumped about this one. I hope you are too!
Cleaning Habit #8: Conquer Paper Overload
Paper overload is one of the toughest challenges when it comes to maintaining a home. Even in this “paperless” society, paper still seems to pile up. Bills. Mail. School work. Permission forms. Tax forms. Bank statements. Passwords. To do lists. Grocery lists.
…it goes on and on.
Well, this month we’re going to get our paper clutter under control. We’re going to set up systems. We’re going to learn how to deal with incoming paper. We’ll eliminate the piles on our desk. We’re going to clean up our files. Some of us might even go paperless.
We are going to make progress!! And by the end, we WILL conquer that paper!
Who’s in? Let me know in the comments! Also, let me know your greatest challenge with paper.
By the way…this month is going to be a bit different. We’ll still check in on Facebook each night. BUT. I want you to raise your right hand and promise to follow along. Then tell me what you accomplished in the comment section on this blog.
Each task of the day will be small. It will be attainable. It will be something you can tackle in a short timeframe.
Let’s do this!
