We usually spend our Sunday’s getting ready for the week. You can definitely still do that today. But since it’s the first of the month, we’re going to start implementing a brand NEW habit! Whoohoo!

Cleaning Habit #2: Clean Your Kitchen Every Night
Our task for the month is to go to bed with a clean kitchen each night. Load the dishwasher, clean the counters, and sweep the floor if necessary. If you can unload the dishwasher before you go to bed, that would be great. If not, first thing in the morning is just fine!
The goal is to start each day with a spotless kitchen and an empty dishwasher. That way we (and our families) can put dirty dishes into the dishwasher immediately instead of putting them in the sink or on the counter.
If you can get in the habit of starting each day with a clean slate, life in the kitchen will be incredibly easier and cleaning up won’t take nearly as long.
