The kitchen is the most used room in the house. At least it is in MY house. We cook, clean, rinse, repeat…day after day. And it shows. That’s why I’m so excited to begin this Spring Cleaning Challenge with you!
The goal this month is to make your kitchen the best it can be. If you have the kitchen of your dreams, great! If you don’t, that’s okay. I want you to embrace the kitchen you have and make it work for you!

Day 1 :: Clean the Kitchen
Our “How to Deep Clean the Kitchen” chore for today should be a simple one for most, but it’s the best place to start.
The first step is to clean the kitchen as usual. Do the dishes. Clear the counters and sink. Load and start the dishwasher if you have one. Hand wash anything that won’t fit.
Basically, go to bed with a clean kitchen.
Tomorrow morning (or later today if you have time), unload the dishwasher so you can refill it as you go.
Make it a habit this month to clean your kitchen every night and unload the dishwasher/dishrack each morning. If you continue to clean your kitchen every night, it will only take about 5 minutes each night.
