Yesterday we talked about laundry as part of the 31 Days to Make Cleaning a Habit series. Since there’s still more to cover when it comes to laundry, let’s stick with that topic one more day.
31 Days to Make Cleaning a Habit – Habit 4
Put Dirty Clothes in the Hamper Immediately
Many of you instinctively do this already.
Some of you put clothes in the hamper, but your family members aren’t in the same habit.
A few of you may think you put dirty clothes in the laundry basket, but if you look around your room right now you’ll notice dirty clothes are all over the place!
It’s all too easy when changing clothes or jumping in the shower to just leave them in a pile on the floor. I know this from experience! But, those piles clutter up your space and create the illusion of a messy home, even when it’s not.
By taking a couple extra seconds to immediately put dirty clothes in the laundry basket, you’ll have a cleaner home and even save time in the long run when gathering your laundry for the washing machine.
Are you already in the habit of putting your clothes in the hamper? What about the rest of your family?
