Polishing wood furniture is a cleaning task I often neglect. I’ll wipe the furniture down if I see a layer of dust, but I don’t clean or condition the wood nearly enough. Thankfully, the Spring Cleaning season energizes me to accomplish some of those areas I often forget.
If polishing wood furniture is on your Spring Cleaning list, here is an easy homemade furniture polish recipe to try.
Homemade Furniture Polish
- 1 part lemon juice
- 2 parts olive oil
Combine one part lemon juice and two parts olive oil in a clean spray bottle. Close the lid, give it a good shake, and use the mixture to polish your wood furniture.
A cleaning recipe using ingredients already in the kitchen cabinet or refrigerator…how easy is that?
